Senior Couples

These are the senior missionary couples we work with in the mission.
We are lucky to have so many in this mission. They are wonderful men
and women.

All Tied Up

This is another project I have finished. The blocks are made from old
missionary ties, the white is from an old sheet, and the brown border
is from a sister's old skirt. It turned out pretty nice. The batting
and backing were at California prices though.

A special afghan

I just finished a very special afghan for a special boy. It's a LEGO
afghan. It turned out pretty cute.

Happy Birthday!

These elders and sisters sang Happy Birthday to me today. Such
wonderful young men and women! They are from China, Hong Kong, America, Canada, and the Philippines.

Blessed and Exhausted

I had the privilege of performing in a 100 voice choir with a 50 piece
symphony the oratorio, "Lamb of God". We performed it at the Catholic
cathedral in downtown Oakland last Sunday and then Friday, Saturday,
and Easter Sunday here on Temple Hill. I feel so fortunate to be able
to sing with such talented people. It really was a spiritual
experience for all who heard and all who performed. Today I feel
blessed and exhausted.

Great people

These are the missionaries that we have the privilege of associating
with every day: Sister King, the mission nurse, Elder and Sister
McIntire, who handle the cars and travel arrangements, Elder and
Sister Peel who are the housing coordinators and run a Chinese school,
and Elder and Sister Lyman who do finances and everything else. We
enjoy working together.
