What a great evening!

Silver Beaver Award

On February 17, 2012 Mat received the Silver Beaver award. It is quite
an honor and we were able to fly home for the ceremony. All the kids
were there except Joseph. All the boys are Eagle Scouts and Marie
married an Eagle Scout. It was a great weekend.

Look how big and beautiful this is!

A Beautiful Flower

This is a plant at the mission home. It is absolutely beautiful right
now. Who ever thought that flowers could grow in January?

The Moving Crew

We have a non-member neighbor who needed some help, so we received
permission to use some missionaries to help her. This is Elder and
Sister Lyman, Elder Pace, Elder Booth, Elder Lagaaia, and Elder Fahina
(who could pick up a piano with his little finger, if he wanted to)

MacWorld Convention

I will probably never get this chance again, so we decided to attend
the MacWorld convention. I saw LOTS of new products, and loved just
wandering around looking at everything. We saw a big speaker system
that only cost 68,000.00 all the way down to very simple stands for
the iPhone. The most intriguing thing I saw was a tiny 3way lens that
fit on the iPhone. That booth was so crowded you couldn't hardly get
to it. I may still get one. I did buy some small speakers that look
like an egg when folded up. The sound they produce is not small
though. After seeing all I wanted to see, we went to lunch at Mel's
Diner, which was the diner in American Graffiti. Great day!
